Shakespeare's Language: A Praxis (SLP) explores the ways present scholars use new media to historicize Shakespeare's language. The project was originated in 2009 by Ian Lancashire (University of Toronto) and a group of his graduate students; I joined to help convene monthly discussions following up on issues that had come up in Ian's grad course on Shakespeare's Language. We have since grown into an international group of professional scholarly editors who now exchange ideas about the future of editing in a Facebook group, as well as at conferences and in publications.
