Dr. Bessma Momani is Associate Professor in the department of Political Science at the University of Waterloo in Canada and the Balsillie School of International Affairs.

 

She is also a Senior Fellow at the Centre For International Governance and Innovation, a think-tank in Waterloo, Canada.

 

Dr. Momani is a regular contributor to national and international media on the Arab Spring and on global economic governance issues.

 

She is a specialist on the International Monetary Fund and on economic liberalization in the Middle East. The author of several books and scholarly articles, her work examines the intersection between international economics, finance, and global politics.
