An option is a specific combination or grouping of courses which emphasizes a particular area of study. If you choose to complete an option, the name of that option appears on your degree when you graduate.
To complete the Cognitive
Science Option, you need to complete 7 term
courses, including 4 required courses and 3 courses to be chosen from a
list of approved electives, with a cumulative average of at least 70%.
Your choice of courses must be approved by the program
director.
Students in any discipline can choose individual courses in Cognitive Science as their electives. Some Cognitive Science courses are offered on a part-time basis or through distance education.
